If you had asked me what the WWF was when I was eight years old, I probably would have performed Hulk Hogan’s signature flex moves, because WWF was widely known to mean the World Wrestling Federation:

But the other WWF, the World Wide Fund for Nature (formerly the World Wildlife Fund) has actually been around since 1961, and in fact won a lawsuit that resulted in the Hulkster’s former company being renamed.

So, with all of that silly preamble out of the way, what is the World Wide Fund for Nature? What do they do? What accomplishments do they have under their belt?
