Multiculturalism in Teams
In order to be an effective leader of multicultural groups, you must take inventory of your level of cultural awareness, knowledge, and skills that have a bearing on your ability to function effectively in multicultural situations.
Reflect on how your culture influences the way you think, feel, and act. Can you identify any areas of cultural bias that could inhibit your ability to work effectively with people who are different from you? If so, what steps might you take to challenge your biases? What are your core areas and where can you flex?
