Your group will play the role of an HR consulting company. An educational software company in Toronto has selected your firm to help them recruit and select a marketing Vice-President (VP) who will spend a year in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia as an expatriate. This VP will be responsible with establishing a sales and marketing team who will attempt to gain market share in the Middle East. You will develop a presentation and report for this group project. You should answer the following questions in both your presentation and report.
1. What problems or issues may emerge with this assignment?
2. Which job analysis methods did you use and what does your job description look like?
3. Identify the most important bona fide occupational requirements for this position.
4. Which recruitment channels did you recommend and what does your sample job advertisement look like?
