Question Description
Formal Analytical Report Assignment (Part 1)
Please note: this is a scaffolded assignment, meaning it is due in 4 incremental parts over 4 weeks. During the 4th week (the final week of class) you will complete the remaining components of the assignment as outlined for that week, arrange the contents in the correct order and upload all four parts together, as a whole report. Please note, completing this project will require working out of sequence, as things like the executive summary, lists of tables and charts, etc. will not be able to be completed until you have completed the report’s contents.
As a scaffolded assignment, the rubric for each part will be provided, and each week’s work will be due accordingly. However, your assignment will not be assessed until all four parts have been completed and submitted as a whole. Though you will not receive a weekly grade, failure to submit each part on time will result in a zero for that material, even if it is included in the final submission. Please be sure to make each deadline to avoid that.
Each part will focus on the assigned materials that are due that week.
The Scenario:

Your mission is to come up with a proposal idea, research the topic for feasibility, and write the analytical proposal. Your proposal should follow the structure for this type of report as explained by the formal reports section of your textbook. (Additional example on pgs. 348-367).
